The official MyLA311 FAQ states that only addresses within City of Los Angeles limits will be found. A “Los Angeles” postal city or ZIP code is not enough to prove City jurisdiction.
- Remove apartment information temporarily. Search the main street address first, then add the unit in the request details when allowed.
- Use the official street spelling. Try the complete directional and street suffix, such as North, South, Avenue, Boulevard or Street.
- Check whether the property is in another municipality. Areas such as Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Inglewood, Culver City, Burbank and Glendale operate separate systems.
- Check for unincorporated LA County service. County addresses may use a franchise hauler, garbage-disposal district or CleanLA program.
