How many oversized items does Nashua collect for free?

How much is a Four Hills residential permit?

The annual permit is $5 per vehicle. The fee is waived for Nashua residents age 65 or older, although identification and vehicle registration are still required.

What are Four Hills Landfill hours?

The facility is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The scale stops 30 minutes before facility closing.

How much does Nashua household hazardous-waste disposal cost?

The 2026 regional events charge $20 per vehicle for up to 10 gallons or 20 pounds of eligible household hazardous waste.

Can I take latex paint to a hazardous-waste event?

No. Nashua instructs residents to dry or solidify latex paint and then take it to Four Hills in a black trash bag using a valid residential permit.

Call the Solid Waste Department at 603-589-3410 after checking the holiday-adjusted date, set-out time, lid, cart clearance and current weather notices.

Final Nashua Pickup Plan

Use the official GIS map once to save the address’s normal trash weekday and Recycling Week A or B. Trash is weekly; recycling is every other week on the same weekday.

Place the City cart roadside no earlier than 24 hours before collection and by 6:45 AM. Keep the lid closed, bags inside, the arrow facing the street and adequate clearance around every container.

During holiday weeks, move the affected route and every later weekday route one day forward. During storms, check current Solid Waste announcements because emergency delays may differ from the normal holiday rule.

Schedule bulky items before placing them outside, use approved seasonal containers for yard waste and obtain a $5 Four Hills permit for eligible residential drop-off material.
